"Pilgrim"
A Documentary Film
The following film was made over the space of 3 weeks in December of 2011, only 10 months after Christchurch
had their most deadly of earthquakes that took many lives the previous February.
This documentary-style film follows South City Christian Centre (now South City C3) as they prepare
to hold 3 of their church services outdoors (across the street from their building),
with the hopes to reach out to those passing by and give them a glimpse of hope
during the hard times that they were after the quakes.
In the film itself, a majority of the filming took place during the final 2 weeks of the 3.
Some footage of the first week exists as the film's intro. This footage was taken using a mobile phone,
which is why the quality isn't that great. The rest of the film was made properly, however.
Some scenes in the film contain studio recordings from featured musicians,
such as Ty Williams, The Moors, Josh Hurricks, and M&D Muzic to name a few.
Their websites can be found on our Links page.
