Right, unlike the past couple of weeks, this time I'm gonna discuss something serious. "Care Bears." That’s right, I'm going there. Boom. This is a serious subject that important people want to talk about. Well, I am important and I want to talk about it.
The thing that I loved about the "Care Bears" were those awesome cars! You know the ones I’m talking about? Yeah, you know, the cloud cars that those dudes flew around in. Come to think of it, there were girls as well, weren’t there? Anyway, back to the cloud cars. I have questions. Firstly, what were those cloud cars running on? Good times? Can that be turned into a fuel source? Can I get a machine that can do that? How cool would that be? I could get this Ghostbusters backpack type of thing and roam around town until I find some overly happy individual and plant a hose to the front of his face and suck up all of his good times! Hahaha, that would be totally awesome. Then he’d be miserable and say to me, “What gives, man? You took my buzz?” I’d be like, “Yeah, yeah I did and I’m putting in to good use. I have a cloud car that I need to get running again.”
Cloud cars are awesome. Nothing says awesome quite like travelling around in a cloud car. It would a bit like travelling around in a flying DeLorean, but minus the time travelling. I don’t think a cloud car would be up to the rigors of the time vortex. But I gotta say that those cars would be super cheap to run. I have never seen a Care Bear take that car to a shop for repairs. Where would you go? To a mechanic? What would a mechanic say? “Um, what’s this made of? Clouds? Wow. Erm…”
If there was a battle or a war between the ponies of "My Little Pony" and the "Care Bears," who would win? Why would they fight each other? They are both supposed to be agents of good, but I guess there could be a reason for a battle. Ponies get temperamental. Maybe they banged up a couple of those cloud cars. That would definitely annoy those bears. I would put my hard-earned dough on the Care Bears to kick some serious ass. They got those cloud cars and also those stomach beam attacks which could hurt. I know the purpose of that magic is good, but any weapon can be made to a desired purpose, can’t it? I do wonder how much getting hit by a cloud car would hurt? “Yeah, take that one out. Full speed, Tenderheart.”
Well, as riveting this conversation has been, I feel the time has come for me to wrap things up. Unless you want me to continue rabbiting on about this for any longer? No? I can’t say that I blame you, really. It was rather stupid. In the beginning I thought it was going to go somewhere, but it didn’t.
As always, check out the site and see what we have on offer. We recently did a series of audio skits and we’re hoping to release those over the Summer. We do have plans to do more of this while the weather is good. Why does the weather have to be good? We do these things inside in front of a computer screen! Weird huh?
I haven’t done as much on my next story as I would like to have done, but as always, my writing is a work in progress. I get quite busy with a number of different projects and sometimes one of those projects falls behind in the hustle bustle of life. Will bring more to you on the next short story when I have it. If you have some thoughts on the "Care Bears," please drop me a line. I love feedback...and lollies. Send lots of lollies.
