Well, this has been a while in the making, has it not? Feels weird to be back in the saddle, so to speak. I think the last time you and I got together was before Christmas. A wee while before Christmas, I have to say!
What have I been up to? That’s a good question. Not a lot really. I’ve been lazy, did the whole Christmas thing with the family, as we all do. Took a bit of time off work and was even lazier! That really sums things up well. I’ve done nothing important other than wasting time doing nothing. Christmas was interesting. I mean, when you get to my age of 665, you don’t look upon the festive season as you did when you were a little person. When you’re little, you get wired up for the season and this fat dude in a red jumpsuit, who has a nervous tic in the form of deep throated laughing, breaks into your house, eats your food, drinks your beer and gives you gifts as compensation? Yeah, I know what you’re thinking. This isn’t exactly what happens, but it’s close if you look at it from a certain perspective. Then you get older and Christmas is all about mom’s food and getting underpants and socks. You don’t get excited, you just treat it like another holiday and prepare for the onslaught on your midriff.
So as the title suggests, normal transmission has resumed. What does that mean? It means that Stuffed Duck Productions has come back to life like the monster in the Frankenstein movies and books. The books are better. I suggest the Dean Koontz series. It’s a cool take on the classic tale, but I’m getting off track. It happens a lot. I’d get these blogs done a lot quicker if I wasn’t returning to Facebook all the time! We are back on the juice. Wait, that could be taken the wrong way. We are not on the juice. Well, maybe Duckman is, but I’m most definitely not. I don’t drink. I’m weird enough as it is. I don’t need assistance!
I’m going to be getting back into writing blogs and I’m already writing stuff. Some of it will make it’s way here onto Stuffed Duck Productions and some will make it’s way onto other outlets. I have a friend in the writing business who may help me with a couple of projects in the future. Interesting times, and of course Duckman and I have a few music projects we are working towards, which will be very interesting. Other things will be discussed as we get closer to time of creation or realease.
I’m looking forward to another year with all you wonderful people. Hopefully we’ll all have some fun along this crazy journey.
