So, there you are! I was wondering where the heck you all got to! I was about to call the coppers. I’ll put down the phone. I have something to say and it’s always better to say this to an actual person rather than talking to myself again. The counsellors told me not to do that too often. The grandeurs of delusion return again and again. But that’s enough about me. I won’t get sidetracked into talking about myself or my imaginary counsellors! Oh, yes. Did I not mention that at the beginning? My counsellors aren’t real. I saw how much they charge and thought, "I can do that." I mean, how hard can it really be to listen and give bogus advice? I can do that and provide a humorous personality as well! I’m partially schizophrenic in any case. If I’ve insulted any sensitive schizophrenic groups out there, then I apologize profusely. Right. I’ll take a pill and get down to what I need to say, or, what I came to say.
The other day something awesome happened. You all know what it was. A bunch of scientists got a science machine thingy up into space and landed it on a comet thingy. If it isn’t totally obvious, I’m not an academic or a scientist. But yeah, the scientists got this science robot landed on a moving comet and they did it with a high degree of success.
This is all old information and this isn’t a news report. I’ll leave news reports to Duckman. My blogs are nonsense that I hope people like you and… you! Like and enjoy. Anyway, getting off on a tangent again. What I want to focus on is the celebration that happened after the scientists landed this gadget, which is about the size of a large box, on the comet. In the control room, all the geeks and scientists went absolutely nuts! People were high-fiving each other (which is awesome, high-fives are always awesome) yahooing, screaming for joy. The scientists were going nuts. There were even people crying. Crying, for goodness sake. They showed one guy on the news who was fisting the air, mouth open, like his team had just won the damned World Cup. It was completely nuts, completely crazy. All this for landing some robot on a damn piece of rock. Geeks. Go figure.
I had a friend at school, let’s call him ‘Byon’ for arguments sake, hehe. He had a game he liked to play with us guys. He was a little ‘out there’ in a very realistic way. This game he liked to play was called "War", and it wasn’t like the usual games of war that kids played at school. There was nothing usual about this guy. Another friend of mine, let’s call him Mick Voggaman. Yup, there’s nothing made up about that name, is there? Anyway, this friend called ‘Mick’ once made a lesbian joke to ‘Byon’ and he chased ‘Mick’ around the courtyard. It was quite funny, but not to ‘Mick’ I guess.
Anyway, this game war was different from any war game you might’ve heard before. In this version, 'Byon' would yell, “WAR!” and throw rocks at people, goading them into throwing rocks back at him. That was always a bad idea. 'Byon' liked to hurt people and he had an inhuman tolerance to pain. He used to invite people to punch him in the stomach. When people punched him in the stomach he would just laugh at them!
Ah, 'Byon' was and still is a good mate. He’s not as bad as he used to be...I think.
As always, check out our stuff at the site, check out Duckman’s blogs, they are really quite awesome and read my new story, "An Unusual Case". I think the first four sections are up. See if it’s your kind of thing.
Cheers
